While we maintained an upgrade for the tool VGWhoIs we noticed the urge to monitor the assignments of IANA's TLD list as well as the WhoIs servers of all TLDs. Everytime a TLD is allocated or deleted or everytime a TLD-authority changes a whois-server URL (add, delete, modify), we - and probably also other developers - need to update our TLD pattern data. But the big question is "how do we know when someone changes something?". For this reason, we have created this service to monitor some of these important IANA data. So we wrote a few webservices which watch the IANA data and report updates automatically. You can use these services too.
